Get here by car
From the direction of Hanover / Hamburg:

Take the A2 till the exit "Bad Eilsen West". Afterwards you take the B83 direction Bad Eilsen West / Bückeburg / Minden. The B83 turns automatically into B65. Follow this street till the exit "PW-Neesen / MI-Zentrum". Take this exit and follow Hausberger Straße. Then turn left, cross the bridge over the Weser and turn left into Portastraße. At the next traffic light you turn right into Domstrasse and after a few metres you will see the Tourist Information on the left handside.

From the direction of Bielefeld:

Take the A2 till the exit "Porta Westfalica". Afterwards you take the B482 in the direction of Porta Westfalica / Minden. Follow the signs to Minden. After a few kilometres you take the right lane. You cross the river Weser and you turn right into "Weserauentunnel" direction Minden. You will reach the first town sign and you take the right lane direction "Minden Zentrum". After 1,5km (at the 7th traffic light) you turn left into "Domstraße" and after a few metres you will see the Tourist Information on the left handside.

From the direction of Bremen:

Take the B61 till the crossing of "Grimpenwall" and "Marienstraße". Turn left into "Grimpenwall" which turns into "Klausenwall" and follow the road for about 1 km. Then turn right into "Domstrasse" and after a few metres you will see the Tourist Information on the left handside

From Hanover main station:

-Westfalen-Bahn in the direction of Bielefeld (Westf) to Minden (Westf) station.
-Westfalen-Bahn in the direction of Rheine to Minden (Westf) station.
-Intercity in the direction of Cologne to Minden (Westf) station.
-Intercity in the direction of Amsterdam Centraal to Minden (Westf) station.

From Bielefeld main station:

-Eurobahn in the direction of Minden (Westf) to the final stop.
-Regional Express in the direction of Minden (Westf) to the final stop.
-Westfalen-Bahn in the direction of Braunschweig to Minden (Westf) station.
-Intercity in the direction of Dresden to train station Minden (Westf).

From Osnabrueck main station:

-Westfalen-Bahn in the direction of Braunschweig to Minden (Westf) station.
-Intercity in the direction of Berlin Ostbahnhof to Minden (Westf).

From Minden train station continue by bus (to "Minden ZOB", central bus station) or by taxi (5 min. journey time).

Parking in Minden

A parking guidance system throughout the city center informs you about the current parking situation in Minden. Numerous parking garages are connected to this parking guidance system.

You can park for free on Kanzlers Weide on the right side of the Weser. A pedestrian bridge over the Weser connects this large car park with the city center, which you can reach in 10 minutes on foot. You have a wonderful view of the Weser, the Glacis and the city's churches that tower over the trees.
Kanzlers Weide is also the ideal place for a stopover with the caravan.
